I love the intro to X-Wing:
I liked the game, but I got quite badly stuck early on and gave up. It seemed a lot harder than TIE Fighter, which I managed to finish without too many problems.
I thought I might go back to this one at some stage, but that probably it isn’t going to happen now. So let’s revel in the majesty of this awesome intro!
I got stuck early on too; I think it was a mission defending a ship from TIE bombers.
But yeah this Intro was amazing back in the day. It was one of the first times I’d encountered voice clips in a game.

It’s very possible we got stuck at the same point. I’m pretty sure it involved Y-Wings and protecting cap ships…

I suspect I would have enjoyed X-Wing even more if you wingmen actually did… something. Anything.
But I suppose it’s saying something that I enjoyed the game as much as I did under those conditions.
Anyway, I’ve come to tug on your trouser leg and make more annoying review requests. Have you considered Flashback or Another World? GOG has the hi-res-ified Another World 15th Anniversary edition. Flashback has got to be around the webs somewhere. Both classics I’m curious of your opinions on.

I’ve considered Flashback more than Another World, but I recall having some controller issues with DOSBox when I last gave it a go.
I never played it first time around but I did have Fade to Black, which I quite liked but failed to get very far on (sound familiar?)
I’m working on a couple of things at the moment but could think about giving Flashback another go. Another World…I’ve heard it’s really unforgiving.
