In FlatOut 2, sometimes you end up trying something you never really wanted – just by accident, you get caught up in things, and the next thing you know, you’re driving up some pipes and jumping through a billboard.
Sometimes, though, you’re drawn to that extremely dangerous shortcut, the one you know only has a 1-in-10 chance of going well, all for the small amount of satisfaction you’ll get if you actually manage to pull it off. Here are a couple of examples:
Example 1: There’s a jump at a construction yard through a multi-storey car park that’s just irresistible. Even though our car’s knackered already, we’re going for it.
That’s a decent take-off.
We’ve nailed it!
Hm, actually maybe the angle was a bit off.
Oh bugger.
Example 2: Even though we’re in the lead, and there’s absolutely no need to, we’re going to mount this ramp.
Yee-hah! *air horn*
What a landing! *jiggles forward slightly to acknowledge landing*
Ah.
Oh dear.
